Successful Ukrainian recording artists, Maryka & Iryna- "Maryna" have captivated and delighted audiences with repeat performances at Ukrainian Festivals across Canada and internationally have performed in Italy, Japan and Australia.

"DUET MARYNA'S" love of Ukrainian music radiates whenever they perform. Maryka Gulka-Chabluk and Iryna Holowczynskyj-Wilson have combined not only their voices but also their names, talents and energetic style to promote Ukrainian folk song.

This exciting folk duo performs Ukrainian folk music ranging from the traditional to the contemporary offering entertainment with universal appeal. "Rich, seamless voices, wonderful melodic harmonies and interesting musical arrangements" are interspersed with a flash of Ukrainian folk dance.

As former members of the Rusalka Dance Ensemble, their musical roots stem from similar backgrounds- dancing and singing with community groups, singing in church choirs and playing musical instruments.

"DUET MARYNA" recently released an exciting collection of songs with guests "Lvivski Muzyky" of Lviv, Ukraine, Winnipeg's Sister City. This CD recording entitled "Do Pobachenya -Till We Meet Again" is the first of its kind creatively combining Winnipeg's talent with artists from Ukraine.

"MARYNA's -Spomeny Pioneriv- Reflections of Our Pioneers". recording features their first composition "Kraina Kazky". Popular and entertaining folk songs are combined with original pioneer melodies reflecting all aspects of pioneer life, especially "Zabava"..

"DUET MARYNA" has completed their third recording, a wonderful collection of Bilingual Christmas Carols entitled "Joyful News".
